Billing Guide

The CAP-CT Caregiver Training Billing Guides are designed to help health care teams navigate reimbursement for caregiver training and education, allowing teams to more adequately address the comprehensive needs of caregivers.

Use these codes during routine visits, Initial and Subsequent Annual Wellness Visits (AWV), Health Risk Assessments, follow-up visits, and more! CTS and CHRA codes are used to bill for providing training to and assessments of caregivers.

What These Codes Cover

  • CTS and CHRA codes are used to bill for providing training to and assessments of caregivers.
  • HRSN codes are used to bill for addressing upstream drivers (social and economic factors) that affect the patient’s health, which caregivers are often responsible for managing.
